  		'post_content' => '<p>The Super Eagles of Nigeria is set to play two International Friendly matches against Cote d’Ivoire and Tunisia in October.</p><p><br></p><p>This was made known by Amaju Pinnick, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), in a statement on his official Twitter handle, on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020.</p><p><br></p><p>He said the Super Eagles would play former African Champions, Cote D’ivoire, on October 9th, 2020, and winners of the 2004 African cup of Nations (AFCON), Tunisia, on October 13th, 2020.</p><p><br></p><p>Pinnick revealed that both matches would be played in Austria.</p><p><br></p><p>The Federation President said due to the COVID-19 protocols presently in place and the proximity of the bulk of the team as well, Austria was seen as an ideal venue.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Pinnick stated that all costs will be borne by the Football Federations of Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire, as well as Tunisia.</p><p><br></p><p>Read Also: <a href="https://eonsintelligence.com/details/sport-intelligence-18923991/osimhen-two-other-super-eagles-players-out-of-isolation-1292460243" target="_blank">OSIMHEN, TWO OTHR SUPER EAGLES PLAYERS OUT OF ISOLATION</a></p><p><br></p><p>However, he said that the NFF is still awaiting the Federal Government's pronouncement on the resumption of football activities in the country.</p><p><br></p><p>The Former Confederations of African Football (CAF) first Vice President also said he is hopeful that a Technical Director and a coach would soon be appointed for the Super Eagles and the Super Falcons respectively.</p><p><br></p><p>Pinnick revealed that the League Management Company has signed a massive deal with a reputable organisation that should see the clubs and the league get empowered. He also said the Chief Executive Officer for the league has been filled and will be announced in the coming days</p><p><br></p><p>Furthermore, the NFF President said that COVID-19 tests were conducted on all members of staff in the Federation and four returned positive.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Of the four confirmed cases, one has fully recovered and confirmed negative, others are in stable condition, receiving treatment with the full compliments of the NCDC.</p><p><br></p><p>He said that the Federation lost its head of the ICT department, Mr. Tolulope Abe, to complications arising from surgery.</p><p><br></p><p>Amaju Pinnick is a Nigerian football administrator presently serving as the current president of the Nigeria Football Federation, a role he was first elected to in September 2014. He also said the Chief Executive Officer for the league has been filled and will be announced in the coming days</p><p><br></p><p>Furthermore, the NFF President said that COVID-19 tests were conducted on all members of staff in the Federation and four returned positive.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Of the four confirmed cases, one has fully recovered and confirmed negative, others are in stable condition, receiving treatment with the full compliments of the NCDC.</p><p><br></p><p>He said that the Federation lost its head of the ICT department, Mr. Tolulope Abe, to complications arising from surgery.</p><p><br></p><p>Amaju Pinnick is a Nigerian football administrator presently serving as the current president of the Nigeria Football Federation, a role he was first elected to in September 2014. He also said the Chief Executive Officer for the league has been filled and will be announced in the coming days</p><p><br></p><p>Furthermore, the NFF President said that COVID-19 tests were conducted on all members of staff in the Federation and four returned positive.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Of the four confirmed cases, one has fully recovered and confirmed negative, others are in stable condition, receiving treatment with the full compliments of the NCDC.</p><p><br></p><p>He said that the Federation lost its head of the ICT department, Mr. Tolulope Abe, to complications arising from surgery.</p><p><br></p><p>Amaju Pinnick is a Nigerian football administrator presently serving as the current president of the Nigeria Football Federation, a role he was first elected to in September 2014.
