TERRORISTS ABDUCT FARMERS, DEMAND NEGOTIATION FROM ZAMFARA STATE GOVERNMENT

No fewer than 15 farmers were on 3rd July, 2023 abducted by a group of armed terrorists following their invasion into the Gwaram village, Zamfara State.

The information available indicates that the attackers laid siege on the community at about 1250hrs in protest of the new government's refusal to negotiate with the terrorists. They furiously killed three farmers on their farm field and abducted another 15 farmers.

During the attack, they were chanting in the Hausa language that the government must negotiate with them now.

The new Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, insisted he will never negotiate with terrorists in the State and this has intensified brutal attacks of terrorists on villages and communities.
