TRAIN ATTACK: VICTIM ESCAPE AS JOINT SECURITY OPERATIVES RAID FOREST, ARREST SUSPECT
One of the suspected kidnappers involved in the kidnapping of 32 passengers at the Igueben train station, in Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State has been apprehended by the security operatives.
Also, one of the 32 abductees has escaped the den of kidnappers.
This is as a result of the commitment of the Police with the synergy of Vigilante, and local hunters who swung into action in search of the abducted victims.
Meanwhile, the Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, has visited the location of the attack for prompt inspection and has been informed of an arrest of one of the suspects who have been helping the police with an investigation to capture other fleeing members of the kidnapping gang.
The swift commitment of the police with the synergy of security bodies for diving into the situation were commended and hoping this is the last time such an attack will happen on government infrastructure in Edo State.
