TWO KILLED AS EXPLOSIVES TARGET ZULUM'S CONVOY
Reports indicate that two members of CJTF were killed by an Improvised Explosive Device planted by suspected members of Islamic States of West African Province, ISWAP along Dikwa road in Borno State.
The unfortunate incident is said to have happened around 9am on Monday, February 14.
The explosion occurred between Gajibo and Maula in Northern Borno. when the victims in an Izuzu van, were heading to Gomboru Ngala from Dikwa, along several other commuters.

Recall that the road between Maiduguri to Gomboru was officially opened to users on February 4 to allow for unrestricted access of vehicular movement between Maiduguri and Cameroon.
EONS Intelligence learnt that the convoy of the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum who passed through the road to Gomboru on Sunday may have been the intended target of the terrorists' explosive.
The Governor had visited the community where he supervised the distribution of relief materials to displaced locals.
According to an eye witness account from a member of the CJTF, the outcome led to Troops diligently combing the area where additional three other bombs suspected to have been planted at night were further detonated.
