(VIDEO): OGUN STUDENTS BLOCK LAGOS-ABEOKUTA EXPRESSWAY, PROTEST KILLING OF COLLEAGUE BY MOTORIST

Students of United Comprehensive High School, Wasimi in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State in the early hours of Thursday blocked the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway to protest against the alleged killing of their colleague by a motorist.



Eons Intelligence gathered that the angry students in their hundreds trooped out of the school premises and blocked the highway around 10 am.


They prevented vehicles from both sides of the road as they created barricades along the expressway to express their displeasure.

It was learnt that an unidentified pupil of the school was reportedly hit and killed by a motorist while crossing the road.


The incident has resulted in traffic gridlock along the highway.
