YOUTH CLASHED IN BAUCHI; ONE KILLED
The Bauchi police state command has confirmed a clash between youths in Yelwa which resulted in the killing of one person and several others injured.
The police public relation officer, Ahmed Wakil blamed the rivalry on the youth of Anguwan Taya and Yelwan Tsakani which extended to other parts of Yelwa which include; Yushi and Anguwan Kusu.
From reliable sources, five houses were burnt, four people sustained injuries and one was confirmed dead.
In a measure to bring back peace and normalcy, the state police command has deployed various sectors of the police unit to the affected areas to avoid further breakdown of law and order.
However, the commissioner of police, CP. Umar Mamman Sadan has ordered an intensive investigation of factors surrounding this act and bring the perpetrators to book.
