PIRATES ATTACK VESSEL IN GULF OF GUINEA, KIDNAP SIX CREW MEMBERS

Pirates have attacked a vessel in the Gulf of Guinea, some 48nm southwest of Equatorial Guinea.


The vessel, MV Tonsberg, was attacked on Monday December 13, by unknown assailants, numbering about 12.


Eons Intelligence gathered that the assailants abducted six crew members and injured one. 


The area where the vessel was attacked is between offshore and inland waters of Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states.
