Multiple reports indicate that the station caught fire on Thursday and its studio burnt to ashes.

According to a statement signed by the fire service Public Relations Officer, Bunkunola Kuti, the fire was traced to a power surge, saying it was quickly curtailed and extinguished by the firefighters.

It said the “firefighters at Isheri fire station of Ogun State Fire Service, led by the Area Commander, Engr Akinwande Abiodun, turned out” to the fire call at the studio

No casualty was recorded during the inferno but valuables and other important materials were razed down.
