YOUTH NAB POS FRAUDSTER IN BAYELSA STATE
A Point of Sale (POS) fraudster was apprehended by the brave youths for allegedly trying to defraud a POS operator using a terrestrial charm on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 at Emeyal community, Ogbia LGA, Bayelsa State.
The information available indicates that the suspect gave the POS operator lots of white papers cut to sizes of Naira notes, to deposit as money after which his charms failed him.
Consequently, the youths in the community tortured the Suspect, after which he confessed to using the same method to defraud a POS operator of N150,000 (One Hundred & Fifty Thousand), in Imiringi, a neighboring community, before heading to Emeyal where he met his Waterloo.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been handed over to the CDC of Emeyal II for further interrogation and investigation.
