The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has appreciated the kind gesture of the Chairman of the Egbe Omo Ogun Rere (EOOR), a Social-cultural group in Ogun State, Rt. Hon Titi Oseni-Gomez, for donating her private facility as a COVID-19 isolation centre.
Hon Titi Oseni-Gomez, a former house speaker, donated her private event centre as an isolation centre to help the state to help win the battle against the Coronavirus.
Reacting to the State government's commendation, EOOR in a statement released by its Publicity Secretary, Omooba Segun Adewale, said it is a show of appreciation and patriotism on the part of the Governor and Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni- Gomez.
"The governor's appreciation also speaks volume about his personality," he added.
According to Omooba Segun, the members of the EOOR were not surprised by the act of patriotism and kind gestures displayed by their selfless leader because of the numerous and impressive humanitarian deeds that she often does.
The Spirit behind the Chairman's humanitarian service reflects in the Members of EOOR as well because that is the foundation on which Egbe Omo Rere, a social-cultural group with members spread across the three senatorial districts of the state is built.
Recently, the EOOR distributed over 3,000 3KG packaged rice to the vulnerable indigenes of the state to cushion the effect of Coronavirus lockdown in Ogun State to help relieve the suffering of the people that are adversely affected by this pandemic.
The government and people of Ogun state would continue to enjoy numerous charitable gestures from EOOR under the leadership of Hon Titi Oseni-Gomez.
