DRAMA AS NDDC ACTING MANAGING DIRECTOR APPEARS TO FAINT DURING HOUSE COMMITTEE PROBE
The Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission Kemebradikumo Pondei has collapsed.
Pondei was rushed out of the ongoing probe into the allegations of misappropriation of funds meant for the development of the Niger Delta region after he appeared to have fainted.
Several people immediately battled to resuscitate him. It is believed that he has been rushed to an undisclosed hospital.
The Deputy Chairman of the Committee has called for a 30-minute recess.
Recall that the acting MD had walked out during the first hearing where he claimed that he would not have a fair hearing if Bunmi Tunji-Bello remained Chairman of the Investigative Committee.
