HUSHPUPPI HIRES MICHAEL JACKSON’S FORMER LAWYER TO REPRESENT HIM IN COURT
Nigeria Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi who was recently arrested for Internet fraud, has reportedly hired Micheal Jackson’s former lawyer, Mark Geragos, to represent him in court.
Music producer and singer, Samuel Oguochuba, aka Samklef, known to be his pal confirmed this via his official Instagram handle.
"Mark George is Hushpuppi lawyer. Former Micheal Jackson lawyer This movie go sweet pass Netflix... he might not even spend all his time, he will work with the government. And regain his freedom. Will be giving u guys update.#samklefblogginaire," he wrote.
Mark Geragos is a successful lawyer who had been involved in high-profile cases of this nature.
The lawyer had represented several celebrities over crime and fraud related offences.

One of his first high profile cases was that of Susan McDougal in an embezzlement case. McDougal was convicted of fraud in the Whitewater case that involved Hillary Clinton and President Bill Clinton. She was acquitted of the embezzlement charges.
Similarly, he represented Clinton's brother, Roger Clinton, who was arrested on drunken driving charges. Clinton pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.
He also represented, the late World hip hop star, Micheal Jackson when he was charged with child molestation. Geragos replaced Jackson, after he said he wanted a lawyer who will devote his full time to the case.

In 2009, He represented Chris Brown when he is charged with assaulting his then girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to complete a domestic violence program.
Hushpuppi was arrested on June 10, by the Dubai Police in the United Arab Emirates and extradited to the United State's FBI on July 2.
Hushpuppi appeared in a federal court in Chicago on Friday and was accused of conspiring to defraud hundreds of millions of dollars through cybercrime.
