PASSENGERS MUST ARRIVE THREE HOURS BEFORE FLIGHT - FAAN ANNOUNCES NEW GUIDELINES ON FLIGHT RESUMPTION
The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) announced that all passengers must arrive three hours before their flight.
The aviation agency disclosed this on Monday, June 15, via its twitter handle.
It said the new guideline is part of the checks put in place by the agency to monitor and curb the spread of Coronavirus.
"#COVID-19 Flight Resumption Protocol for Passengers: You are advised to arrive at the airport three hours before your flight due to the new COVID-19 safety checks," it tweeted.
Recall, Sani Aliyu, the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, had announced that domestic flight resumes on June 21.
It, however, said flight resumption depends on the readiness of the aviation sector.
To curb the spread of COVID-19, FAAN said persons without face masks would not be allowed entry into airports.
It added that passengers should ensure that they adhere to the physical distancing protocols by maintaining a two-meter distance from one another.
