VIGILANTES RESCUE THREE CHILDREN FROM KIDNAPPERS IN KOGI
Security personnel, comprising the Kogi State Vigilante Service (KVS) and the Hunters’ Group of Nigeria (HGN), have rescued three children from kidnappers in the State.
The victims, said to be Fulani, were rescued after the security groups raided the kidnappers’ den beside Erotyi mountain in Kogi/Koto LGA of the state.
The rescued victims were said to have been kidnapped two weeks ago by the kidnap syndicate.
Confirming the development, Abdullahi Yahaya, spokesperson of the hunters’ group, said three kidnappers were arrested during the operation.

Reacting to the development, Jerry Omodara, Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government, said the local vigilantes are recording “good results” because of the morale boost and support from Governor Yahaya Bello.
