ZULUM CONVOY'S ATTACK: AMIR SA'AD, ABU FATIMA, ADAM KAIGA AND OTHER TOP COMMANDERS ELIMINATED BY NAF COORDINATED AIRSTRIKES. INSURGENTS ORDERED ZULUM'S ABDUCTION
A ground assessment following the week-long successful coordinated aerial strike by the Nigerian military on major hideouts of the Boko Haram terrorists and ISIS-affiliated Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) have resulted in the elimination of top ISWAP leaders, including Amir Sa'ad and Abu Fatima.
Amir Sa'ad was the second in command to Goni Maina, the new Governor of the LCB. He was eliminated alongside Abu Fatima at Arinna Soro on Sept. 26.
Adam Kaiga, also a top Commander, was eliminated as a result of the air bombardment in Kwalaram, while Umar Lene, the ISWAP Navy Commander in charge of the waterways was eliminated at Bakassi. Until his death, Umar Lene was in charge of the insurgents' camps which includes; Doron Naira, Tunbun Buhari, Dabar Masara, Doron Gowon, Alagarno, Dogon Chiku and Duguri Masaram, Kangarwa, Dumban Kaikura, Mangari Kaikura, Dunba, Kwatan Yobe, Kwatan Ayaba, Gwandara, Fishdam Malam Karamti and Madayi, among other camps in the fringes of Baga and Kukawa.
Most of these camp are still active without its commanding Officers. The damaging Intelligence precise airstrike also led to the death of Abu Rabi, who was killed with hundreds of his foot soldiers at Arinna Soro.
Many fighters of the group hibernating in small cells, Guards of Irasa (Gates), Sub-Commanders that guard many entry points of various units were also eliminated.
On Sept. 28 at about 1 pm, three top ISWAP Commanders including Khalifah Umar, Habu and Mushak rode on two flying boats that contain 9 guards and 7 guards. They came on behalf of the ISWAP Leadership to pay condolences to different cells devastated by air Bombardment. They later left to Kwatan Sabon Tumbu at 4 pm and afterwards headed into Garin Wulgo to meet Maluma the ISWAP Chief Judge. They are expected to pass the night at the central mosque in the town of Tudun Wulgo to conduct special prayers to their deceased top leaders.
Goni Maina, The Gov. Of the Tumbus usually converge with thousands of followers at the Mosque in Tudun Wulgo every Friday for Jummat prayer at precisely 2 pm.
