86 MORE EVACUEES ARRIVE NIGERIA FROM TURKEY
86 more evacuees arrived in Nigeria from Turkey around 11pm yesterday night, July 5th, 2020.
The evacuees were conveyed via an air peace airline.
This comes after 238 Nigerians initially arrived from Istanbul, Turkey around 2.30pm on Sunday, July 5th, 2020.
This was announced by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) on its official Twitter handle.
The Commission said 59 disembarked in Abuja, while 27 proceeded to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
NiDCOM revealed that all evacuees tested negative for COVID-19 before boarding and would immediately begin the mandatory 14 days isolation as directed by the Federal Government and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
