BREAKING: SUNDAY IGBOHO'S HOUSE SET ABLAZE

Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho’s old house in Ibadan, Oyo State has been set on fire.

Eye Witnesses account reveals that the house was set ablaze some minutes after electricity was switched off around the whole area.

This incident may not be unconnected with the Igangan attack on Seriki Funali’s resident as sympathizers who thronged to the scene of today’s incident are blaming the arson on the Fulanis.

It would be recalled that about 11 houses, including those belonging to the Seriki Fulani in Ibarapa, Alhaji Saliu Abdulkadir, were allegedly set on fire by irate youths in Igangan community of Ibarapa zone of Oyo State, on Friday night after the visit of Sunday Igboho to enforce his seven-day quit notice to the Fulani herdsmen in the area.

Police confirmed that it received reports that some unidentified hoodlums set the house of the Yoruba activist ablaze at about 6:20 in the morning.

The hoodlums, who arrived in a hummer bus and a Micra car, shot sporadically before setting the house on fire.

The fire destroyed the mini sitting room and a yet to be estimated amount of properties before it was quickly put out by the fire service.

Eons Intelligence gathered that Igboho was living in the house, till he moved to a new house he built in Ibadan.

An investigation has commenced into the incident while the Police are on the trail of the hoodlums.
