ENUGU RECORDS THREE COVID-19 CASES
Enugu has recorded three new cases of COVID-19.
This brings the total number of cases in the State to 30.
A statement released today, June 6th, 2020, by the State’s Ministry of Health, signed by Dr Obi Ikechukwu confirmed the development.
Ikechukwu said all three cases have travel history, two from Lagos and one from Rivers.
“Two of the new cases are male patients admitted for other severe underlying conditions.’’
‘’The other case is also a male patient who developed symptoms and contacted the COVID-19 emergency number,’’ the statement said.
According to the NCDC, as of June 6th, 2020, Enugu has recorded 30 cases of COVID-19.
Of the 30 cases, 16 are active and are on admission, 14 discharges have been made and no death has been recorded.
