FORMER MILITARY ADMINISTRATOR OF KANO AND BENUE, AMINU ISA KONTAGORA DIES FROM COVID-19 COMPLICATIONS
Aminu Isa Kontagora, the former Military Administrator of Kano and Benue State, has died from COVID-19 complications.
Kontagora, 64, died on Sunday, January 10, at a hospital in Abuja, and would be buried on Monday January 11, in line with Islamic rites.
Col. Kontagora was Administrator of Benue State from August 1996 to August 1998 during the General Sani Abacha military regime.
He then became the Military Administrator of Kano State from September 1998 to May 1999, under the transitional regime of General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
