ISWAP PLANS TO LAUNCH ATTACKS ON SOFT TARGETS IN PLATEAU AND FCT
Units commanders linked to Boko Haram ISWAP faction may launch soft target attacks around locations given as Plateau; Jos and FCT Abuja.
These attacks may be signature attacks in consolidation of the announcement of Abu Masab Al Barnawi as the new caretaker leader of ISWAP.
Abu Musab recently took over the stronghold of Boko Haram JAS faction and is reported to have masterminded the death by suicide of JAS veteran leader Abubakar Shekau in a location given as Parisu - Sambisa Forest North-East Nigeria.
The local Population in Plateau, Jos & the FCT, Abuja, must remain extremely vigilant.
