ABDUCTED 13-YEAR OLD BOY IN ABEOKUTA REGAINS FREEDOM
A 13 year-old-boy, Gbolahan Ajibola, who was abducted by gunmen in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has regained his freedom.
Recall, Eons Intelligence reported that Ajibola was kidnapped on April 11 at his residence in Destiny Estate, Obada-Oko, in the Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.
The kidnappers invaded Destiny Estate in Obada community and whisked the boy away around 9.15pm. The assailants, numbering about six, shot sporadically into the air before kidnapping the victim.
In a statement released by the Ogun State Police PRO, Abimbola Oyeyemi, Gbolahan was released on Tuesday and has been reunited with his family.
It is however not clear whether a ransom was paid before the victim regained freedom from his captors.
