INSURGENCY: REVENGE SEEKING BH/ISWAP TERRORISTS LAY AMBUSH FOR SOLDIERS IN BORNO TOWN

Credible information from Local sources indicate and warn against an impending Islamic State of West Africa (ISWAP) terrorists attack on the 3rd Battalion Troop situated at Wulgo in Gambaru Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State. 

The reports indicate that there has been an unprecedented influx of ISWAP terrorists around the area for some days now. The source also advised that security details and drills around the various military locations in the area should be heightened and troops must maintain high vigilance, in case the terrorists intend to be diversionary in tactics. 

It has also been reported that a group of ISWAP terrorists have laid ambush and currently lurking to attack troops and patrol teams along the routes leading to Amchidé in Northern Cameroon. 

They are alleged to be executing a planned dusk to dawn approach in an apparent way to ensure the success of the ambush. Troops patrolling the ambience of Kumshé - Banki - Limani - Kolofata and Tagawa-Mora axis should be immediately placed on red alert. 

Eons Intelligence gathered that there has been a surge in the numner of suspicious movements around the areas. More than 50 of their foot soldiers have been seen loitering around the area, according to locals.

Information gathered around Alagarno Area also reveal that the insurgents are out to revenge the killing of their men at Buratai and Biu Areas of Borno State. The intelligence reports also indicates that BHT/ISWAP have continued to exert their presence at Jalori, Daima and Shettima Villages in Kaga Local Government Area for more than four days now.

It is also on record that the terrorists prevented the villagers in Daima from either accessing their farms or conducting Jummat prayers on Friday. The relevant authorities are hereby advised to swing into action in order to nip these sinister plans in the bud.
