AMOTEKUN ARRESTS TWO SUSPECTED RITUALISTS IN POSSESSION OF A HUMAN HEAD IN OYO STATE

Two suspected ritualists, Adebisi Alli (32) and Abdullahi Salami (35) with the possession of a human head have been arrested by the operatives of Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN), Amotekun, at Oke-Ogun community, Saki, Oke Ogun Oyo State. 


The suspects were arrested on 10th January 2024 after a resident of the community who parked at the front of the house where one of the suspects is residing found an object wrapped in cellophane under his car when he wanted to fix the tyres. It was unfortunate to have seen a human head after opening the object which caused him to inform the Amotekun corps immediately. 


However, the arrival of Amotekun to investigate the horror object led them to Alli's apartment where the operatives found an earthenware pot on fire with human leg bones, and other parts of animals and birds were being burned together. The suspect was quickly summoned to interrogation where he confessed that the terrestrial concoction belonged to Abdullahi, the second suspect. 


Nonetheless, Alli disclosed that Abdullahi had sent him with a price negotiation of N40,000 and another man to get him a human head which on Monday 9th January 2024, they went to the graveyard at Oke Poly along Ago Are road and exhumed a fresh grave and cut the head of the dead man. 


Subsequently, the operatives went to Abdullahi's house and found him a paint bucket filled with already decomposing different human parts. Abdullahi admits to what Alli has revealed to the operatives. 


Meanwhile, the suspects and the exhibits found have been transferred to Oyo State Polic Command for further investigation
