BANDITS INVADE VILLAGES IN KADUNA, DISENGAGE SECURITY SYNERGY
Two communities in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area in Kaduna State got stormed around 1400hrs on Sunday, January 8, by bandits in large numbers and massacred scores of security personnel comprising Civil Defenders, Policemen, Soldiers, and members of a Vigilante group at Kakangi/Randagi Road checkpoint.
Available information revealed Kubau and Unguwan Zakara villages of the LGA as the affected communities.
Meanwhile, the farmers in that location and the bandits had agreed on a pre-condition that allow the locals access their farms.
Nonetheless, the village has become the route for bandits to carry out their rustled cows commerce which sounds illegal to security men that were stationed over there.
The bandits breached the agreement they had with this community simply because of the killing of one of their errand boy by the security men who was on his path to track their (bandits) lost cow.
They (bandits) divided themselves into two groups to avenge his killing on the security men in these two villages.
