BANDITS KILL JOURNALIST AND ABDUCT SEVERAL COMMUTERS IN JIBIA LGA OF KATSINA
Eons Intelligence have gathered that bandits killed a journalist identified as Ibrahim Dankabo and abducted several commuters in Jibia LGA of Katsina.
The deceased, a cameraman attached to the Information Unit of Jibia Local Government of Katsina State, was shot dead on Monday May 3 in Kukar-Babangida area when he responded to a distress call from his female neighbor during a kidnap incident.
It was gathered that armed men later eventually whisked the woman away. Sources say she is the mother of a traditional title holder in Niger Republic.
The assailants also abducted several commuters on the Katsina-Jibia road, most of whom are residents of Magamar Jibia.
Recall, on April 30, Eons Intelligence reported that Bandits killed one person and abducted four others in Dangani village, Musawa LGA of Katsina State.
