GUNMEN KIDNAP CAN CHAIRMAN
Gunmen have kidnapped Bishop Joseph Masin, Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Nassarawa State.
Elder Yohanna Samari, the immediate past secretary of the association, confirmed the incident in an interview with newsmen.
Samari revealed that the Gunmen invaded the residence of the CAN Chairman at Human Sidi in Lafia, and took him away to an unknown destination at around 11pm on Wednesday.
The Commissioner of police in Nassarawa State, Mr. Bola Longe, stated that the abductors of the CAN Chairman took him away on a motorcycle.
However, the Commissioner said they are on the trail of the Kidnappers to ensure Bishop Thomas Masin is released unhurt.
