ARSENAL JOINS RACE FOR COUTINHO
Arsenal football club is on the verge of signing Philippe Coutinho, a Brazilian star.
According to Le10Sport, Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal Coach has approached Philippe Coutinho's agent, Kia Joorabchian, in his quest to bring Coutinho to the Emirates.
Coutinho is set to return to Barcelona at the end of the season after a loan spell with Bayern Munich.
Reports indicate that the Brazilian is being poached by some Premier League clubs, including Chelsea.
With Chelsea already poaching, Arsenal has joined the race to sign the Brazilian, but the Gunners were reported to have been the first to make contact with Coutinho's agent.
Coutinho has spent the season on loan with Bayern Munich, but the German Bundesliga league does not want to make the deal permanent for €120 million.
