LAGOS CP, HAKEEM ODUMOSU CONDEMNS MOLESTATION OF ARRESTED #OCCUPYLEKKITOLLGATE PROTESTERS, DEMANDS INVESTIGATION INTO THE INCIDENT
CP Hakeem Odumosu, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, has condemned the molestation of the #occupylekkitollgate protesters who were arrested on Saturday, and has demanded an immediate investigation into the incident.
Recall, Eons Intelligence on Saturday reported that about 35 persons were arrested on Saturday for protesting against the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry to reopen the Lekki Toll Gate and hand it over to the Lekki Concession Company.
Reports indicate that the protesters were brutalized with videos captured online showing some of them being thrown into a police van.

In a statement by the Lagos State Police PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, CP Odumosu ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State CID, Panti, DCP Adegoke Fayoade, to analyse the video and arrest whoever is responsible for the act.
The statement reads; "The attention of the Lagos State Police Command has been drawn to a viral video where some arrested “Endsars protesters” were being molested in a bus by some individuals after their arrest.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, who was piqued by this unprofessional and inhuman act, has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State CID, Panti, DCP Adegoke Fayoade, to analyse the video and bring to book whoever that must have been responsible for the act."
