BOKO HARAM STRIKES GUBIO COMMUNITY AGAIN, KILLS 30
At least 30 residents, including 6 vigilante members, lost their lives when Boko Haram terrorists again attacked Gubio Town, Borno State, on Sunday morning.
The attack on the Gubio community, which began around 9.45 am on June 14, is the second of Boko Haram’s onslaught on the vulnerable Local Government Area in 4 days.
Eons Intelligence reported that the terrorists killed at least 67 villagers and stole over 1000 cattle when they invaded Faduma Koloram village in Gubio Local Government Area on June 10.
Following the Nigerian Army’s recent victories over the Islamic Insurgents, the terrorists in the last 7 days have been targeting vulnerable communities.
On June 14, the Nigerian troops successfully repelled Boko Haram/ISWAP attack on Gajiram town in Nganzai Local Government Area, Borno State.
