GUNMEN KIDNAP MOTHER OF GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO’S CHIEF OF STAFF
Gunmen have kidnapped Mrs. Seriya Raji, mother of Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the assailants, numbering about six, invaded her residence on Monday night in Adavi Local Government Area of the State on Monday night.
Sources say the assailants whisked her away moments after she observed her evening (Ishai) prayer in a mosque within the house located at Inese/Ovakere new layout in Nagazi community in Adavi LGA.
As of the time of filing this report, the abductors are yet to contact the family of the victim for a ransom.
Recall, a few weeks ago, gunmen attempted to kidnap the Kogi State Commissioner for Environment, Adewale Omofaiye.
