GUNMEN KILLS DRIVER, ABDUCTS PASSENGERS IN KATSINA
A driver identified as Mika Kwaru was shot dead by gunmen on the Damari-Dandume road in Sabuwa Local Government Area of Katsina.
Other passengers in the bus were abducted whilst those who were badly injured were left alone.
It was gathered that the gunmen pursued a mass transit bus driven by Kwaru and opened fire on the moving vehicle when he refused to stop.
Recently, Katsina State has been battling with security challenges posed by kidnappers and bandits.
About 48 hours ago, Eons Intelligence reported that Troops killed six bandits in Katsina and Zamfara.
Also on July 7th, 15 farmers were killed by bandits in Katsina.
