KANO POLICE FOIL EXTORTION ATTEMPT, ARREST FAKE OFFICER
A 31-year-old impostor, Salisu Bala, has been arrested by operatives of the Kano Police for posing as a police officer and preying on unsuspecting members of the public.
Bala, a resident of Kurna Quarters in the Kano metropolis, was apprehended by members of the Police Special Constabulary at Koki Quarters.
At the time of his arrest, Bala was wearing a black uniform and a camouflage peak cap, attempting to deceive people into thinking he was a legitimate law enforcement officer. Unfortunately, his actions not only harmed innocent individuals but also tarnished the reputation of the police force.
The swift action taken by the Police Special Constabulary is a reassuring step towards maintaining public trust and safety. The police remain committed to protecting citizens from such deceitful activities and ensuring that justice is served.
