NIGERIAN CORRECTIONAL SERVICE ARRESTS FLEEING INMATE IN KADUNA
An inmate who escaped from the custody of The Nigerian Correctional Service (NcoS), Katsina State Command has been re-arrested by the operatives of the same command in Kaduna metropolis, Kaduna State.
The information available indicates that two inmates escaped from the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Katsina (Old) awaiting their trial on October 17, 2023.
As a result, a collaborative effort involving various security agencies successfully apprehended Ibrahim Muhammad Lawal, also known as Abba Kala, with the help of a search party.
Meanwhile, the service has deployed its e-tracking mechanism as well as overt and confidential intelligence are working to recapture the second escapee, Musa Isah, who escaped on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in Kaduna metropolis
