NIGERIA MILITARY KILL SCORES OF BOKO HARAM INSURGENTS IN SAMBISA AND GORGORE
Troops of Operation Tura Takaibango on Tuesday inflicted heavy casualties on Boko Haram insurgents in their hideouts in Sambisa forest and the Gorgore axis of Borno State.
Eons Intelligence gathered that the troops with close air support killed several Boko Haram fighters around Gorgore and destroyed their hideouts and gun trucks. The gallant troops recovered a gun truck and several weapons and ammunition.
The Troops also launched an offensive attack into the terrorist’s hideout in Sambisa.
This is the 3rd time the military would be taking the war to the jihadists enclave in Sambisa with a view to reclaiming the entire forest.

Recall Eons Intelligence reported on January 23, that the troops of Operation Tura Takaibango took their offensive attack to Sambisa forest killing many Jihadist fighters while many others fled with gunshot injuries.
A week later, the Nigerian Army in collaboration with the Multinational Joint Taskforce (MNJTF) launched another offensive attack on four Boko Haram/ISWAP hideouts in Sambisa forest, Borno State killing more insurgents and recovering ammunition.
