NIGERIA MILITARY REPEL BOKO HARAM ATTACK ON DIKWA TOWN

The Nigeria military has successfully repelled a Boko Haram attack on Dikwa town in Borno State.

Eons Intelligence gathered that the insurgents attacked the town at about 5:30 PM on Friday, targeting the military base and a humanitarian hub.

After hours of heavy gunfire, the Nigeria Military with the support of two fighter jets and a Mi-35 chopper successfully repelled the attack and defeated the insurgents.

Eons Intelligence gathered that the insurgents were able to burn a part of the UN humanitarian hub during the attack.

The attack, which is the third Boko Haram/ISWAP attack on Dikwa this year, comes a few days after the military reclaimed Marte and cleared the town of the insurgents.
