POLICE ARREST SUSPECTS, RECOVER STATE VEHICLE IN DELTA STATE
The operatives of the Delta State Police Command arrested two persons for allegedly stealing a vehicle belonging to the Ministry of Lands and Infrastructure, Ondo State Government.
The information available indicates that the duo suspects identified as Tochukwu Nnamani (22) and Chukwuma Unue (38) from Rivers State, stole the car from where it was parked at Owo town in Ondo State.
The vehicle was trailed to Patani, where it was sighted and flagged down by the CP-Decoy squad.
Consequently, the suspects on interrogation claimed that the vehicle was given to them by one Efe in Ughelli, and instructed them to deliver it to one Chief Ojukwu at Mbaima town in River State.
Meanwhile, the Toyota Hilux vehicle with Registration Number 231 A10 has been recovered while the suspects would be transferred to Ondo State Police Command for prosecution.
