POLICE NEUTRALIZE NOTORIOUS BANDITS KINGPIN IN BAUCHI FOREST
Operatives of Bauchi State Police Command have neutralized 12 suspected kidnappers and bandits during a raid in Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state on December 19,2022, at about 0230hrs of the day.
A joint operation of security operatives engaged the suspects in four hideouts at Mansur, Digare, Gwana and Dajin Madam in Alkaleri Forest which subsequently led to notorious bandit-kidnap kingpin, 'Madaki Mansur' killed in the daring joint operation.
The kingpin had been terrorising Alkaleri LGA, and neighbouring states of Taraba, Plateau and Gombe.
The superior fire-power of the operatives left twelve (12) of the kidnappers neutralized while others were subdued, dislodged, and scampered in disarray into the nearby bushes with possible gunshot wounds and abandoned their camp.
Consequently, weapons and operational motorcycles were recovered during the operation.
