SO-SAFE CORPS ARREST A RITUALIST OVER THE MURDER OF HIS FATHER IN OGUN STATE
An alleged ritualist identified as Ridwan has been arrested at Oshoku, Ijebu-ode North LGA by the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, codenamed So-Safe Corps.
The information available indicates that the suspect on 31st August 2023 at about 0001hr tied his father with rope and killed him with a knife. He further removed his private part, larynx, and four teeth as required for the ritual and fled the scene.
Following his murderous action, the victim made a noise that alerted the security men to surface at the location and found him lifeless in the pool of blood. The suspect was tactically trailed and arrested in the bush where he hid and confessed to his crime as he was sent by one Baba Kekere but he refused to give his address for an arrest.
Meanwhile, the alleged killer had been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Ogbere Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
