SUSPECTED CULTISTS KILL UNIBEN UNDERGRADUATE AFTER LAST EXAM
Eons Intelligence have gathered that suspected cultists have killed a certain Augustine Izu, student of political science department, University of Benin, Edo State.
Sources say the undergraduate was shot dead at his off-campus hostel at 5, Imade street, around Federal Government College Road area, Ugbowo, unknown gunmen suspected to be members of a secret cult.
Eons Intelligence learnt that his killers, who were masked, stormed Izu’s apartment on Tuesday and shot him dead, a few hours after his last examination.
Security operatives attached to the Ugbowo police division later came to evacuate his lifeless body to the mortuary.
The Edo State Police PRO, SP Bello Kontongs, who confirmed the incident, said an investigation has commenced and security operatives are on the trail of the killers, to arrest and prosecute them.
