SUSPECTED IPOB MILITANTS KILL TWO PERSONS IN IMO COMMUNITY
Gunmen suspected to be IPOB militants have killed two persons in Etekwuru autonomous community in the Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State.
This is coming two weeks after unknown gunmen attacked and set a police station ablaze in Ideato LGA of Imo State.
The attack occurred around 4am on wednesday December 8.
Sources disclose that the assailants, upon storming the village, destroyed several property, and inflicted injuries on some residents.
Ohaji/Egbema LGA has been witnessing unprecedented attacks from IPOB/ESN militants in recent weeks. It would be recalled that four oil workers of Lee Engineering Company in Assa community, Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State, were killed by unknown gunmen in August.
In October 2021, Eons Intelligence reported that IPOB militants set the palace of the traditional ruler of the Etekwuru community in the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State on fire.
Also, his private car, a highlander jeep, and other property were razed during the attack.
