UNKNOWN GUNMEN KIDNAP 5, KILL 1 IN BENUE STATE
No fewer than four persons have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen following their invasion into a Pentecostal Church in the early hours of Sunday 2nd April 2023 at Akenawe, Tswarev in Ukemberagya/Tswarev council ward, Logo LGA, Benue State.

The information available indicates that the gunmen stormed the church during a vigil and killed a member of the church, injuring five other persons before they abducted three worshippers and the resident pastor, Rev. Gwadue Kwaghtyo.
Meanwhile, members that sustained varying degrees of injuries are currently receiving their treatments at different hospitals in Ugba and Anyiim all in Logo LGA while the abductees were taken to unknown destinations.
