NIGERIA’S CORONAVIRUS CASES RISE TO 121,566 AS NCDC CONFIRMS 964 MORE INFECTIONS

Nigeria's COVID-19 cases have increased to 121,566 as the NCDC announced 964 more infections on Sunday, 24th January 2021.


The latest figure is the least daily cases Nigeria has recorded in the last 13 days after it recorded 1024 cases on 10th January.


Of the 964 Infections, 360 were discovered in Lagos, 88 in the FCT, and 73 in Ogun.


Nigeria has so far recorded 97,228 recoveries and 1,504 deaths from COVID-19.

Lagos State being the epicenter of the infection in Nigeria has been topping the chart since the emergence of the virus in March 2020.



Lagos has recorded 44,940 cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory with 15,770 cases and 7,522 cases in Plateau State.

The South West State has so far made 35,804 discharges and recorded 285 deaths.
