BANDITS INVADE MOSQUE IN JIBIA LGA OF KATSINA, ABDUCT 12 WORSHIPPERS

Eons Intelligence have gathered that bandits abducted twelve Muslim worshippers while observing prayers at a mosque located in the outskirt of Jibiya town of Katsina State.


Sources say the assailants invaded the Mosque around 2am-midnight, shot sporadically, before whisking the abductees away into a forest.


Jibya town has become a hotbed for banditry attacks in recent weeks. Days ago, 40 Muslim worshippers were abducted by gunmen in the area but 28 managed to escape.


Recall, Eons Intelligence reported on May 7 that bandits killed a journalist identified as Ibrahim Dankabo and abducted several commuters in Jibia LGA of Katsina.
