(VIDEO) NDLEA ARRESTS MAN WHO CONCEALED COCAINE IN T-SHIRT STICKERS AT MURTALA MUHAMMED INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a certain Ukaegbu Bright Onyekachi, who allegedly concealed cocaine T-Shirt stickers at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

This development comes barely one week after officials of the Agency arrested a woman with heroin and cocaine worth N30 Billion at the Murtala Muhammed Airport.

Onyekachi was arrested with 3.30 kilograms of the illicit drug during inward clearance of passengers on Ethiopian Airlines at the arrival hall of the airport.

Ahmadu Garba, NDLEA commander at MMIA, said Onyekachi arrived in Nigeria on board Ethiopian airways from São Paulo.

He said; “The hard drug was cleverly concealed in T-shirts stickers but he couldn’t escape the eagle eyes of our detectives."

Recall that last week the new NDLEA Chairman, Mohammed Buba Marwa, gave commanders of the agency and special commands marching orders to fish out illicit drug traffickers across the country.

Over the weekend, operatives of the NDLEA, FCT Command, raided a number of drug peddlers hideout in Wuse Zone 4 and 5, and arrested 14 suspects including three men in Military uniform suspected to be fake soldiers.

The operatives also raided Area 1 by Gwagwalada park; Dagwa village and Abattoir in Karu.

Similarly, the agency said its Nasarawa command also uncovered a cannabis warehouse in Lafia, the State capital, where 45 bags of illegal drugs weighing 474kg were recovered.
