BOKO HARAM PANIC AS NIGERIAN MILITARY STORMS SAMBISA FOREST AGAIN
Intelligence reveals growing apprehension and panic among Boko Haram elements, over presence of a Nigerian army Military base in the dreadful Sambisa forest - Borno State of North East Nigeria.
The situation report was revealed on 9th February, 2021 in a leaked telephone conversation of one Yakubu BULUMKUTU - a notorious Boko Haram fighter, located around Kuje Correctional Facility, Abuja and his associate, given as Ba Alai located around Ali Karumiri Kumshe Bama, Gwoza LGA Borno State.
In the leaked exchange between the duo, Ba Alai disclosed that women and children had been forcefully relocated to a safe hideout, ahead of a proposed planned attack on the Nigerian army military base located in the Sambisa Forest. The jihadist was heard expressing apprehension over possible clampdown on veteran Abubakar Shekau, Boko Haram JAS factional leader, by the Nigerian Military.
In view of the above, the Borno State Command should intensify its operations in the Sambisa Forest and other surrounding locations in the fringes of the Lake Chad basin and take necessary proactive steps to protect force deployment with the highest level of alertness against possible planned attacks on hard military targets. Monitoring via surveillance and reconnaissance of large movements by jihadist by the ground troops, Nigerian Airforce and Nigerian navy should be increased twofolds.
The war on terror is most effective or ineffective through the success or failure of intelligence and counter intelligence led operations for or against government and non state actors.
Protecting innocent civilians and safeguarding the integrity and national territorial boundary of every state is a national and regional security priority.
If you see something say something - this is the people’s war , victory can only be attained if all hands are fully on deck.
