12 SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE VIOLENCE IN AGUDA AREA OF LAGOS STATE
The Lagos State Police command has arrested 12 suspects in connection with the violence that took place in Aguda area, Surulere, Lagos State on Sunday.
Eons Intelligence earlier reported that about three persons died in a clash between rival cult groups in Coker-Aguda located in the Surulere Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The Commissioner of Lagos, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has deployed security agents to the area to restore normalcy and calm the tension.
In a statement by the State's Police PRO, Adejobi Olumuyiwa, several arms and ammunition were recovered from the suspects. He added that they are also helping security operatives in their investigation.
