ABUJA COURT GRANTS 6 #ENDSARS PROTESTERS BAIL
Six #ENDSARS protesters arrested in front of the National Assembly complex, Abuja, have been granted bail.
The protesters; Oluwatosin Adeniyi, Paul Akinwumi, Davo Chomo, Abdulsalam Zuberu, Kabiru Gasali, and Yasiru Bashir, were initially arraigned on Friday, November 6 after their arrest but were refused bail.
However, on Wednesday, November 11, the presiding magistrate Abdurazak Eneye, granted bail to each of the six defendants in the sum of N50,000 and one surety in like sum.
Magistrate Eneye ruled that each defendant must present a surety that is a Nigerian citizen with a verifiable means of identification.
