AGAIN GUNMEN KIDNAP ABUJA RESIDENTS, DEMAND N900m RANSOM
About thirteen villagers have been abducted following the invasion of gunmen in the Piko community, Bwari Area Council of the FCT, Abuja.
The information available indicates that the gunmen invaded the community at about 00:09hr on 6th May 2024 and headed straight to the abode of herders where they kidnapped two herders and a pregnant woman. Thereafter, they navigated to other parts of the community and abducted a pastor, an assistant head teacher with the Local Education Authority, and other residents.
Consequently, the gunmen later released the pregnant woman, the head teacher who is physically challenged alongside another resident, then whisked away the other victims.
However, the bandits have put a call through to the community and demanded a ransom of N900m for the release of the victim.
