CHINESE COMMUNITY IN LAGOS DONATES FOOD ITEMS WORTH N10M TO THE LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT.
The Chinese Community in Lagos, has donated 300 bags of rice, 500 cartons of noodles, N3 million worth of Spaghetti and a cheque of N10 million to Lagos State.
Last week, the community had donated medical equipment worth N175 million and also a cheque of N35 million to the state government.
On behalf of the Chairman Mr. Chan Kuan, the Charity Foundation of Overseas Chinese Service Association in Lagos, had contributed N10 million coupled with the food items provided by the Chinese community, the Chairman of the China Industrial and Commercial Enterprises Association, Mr. Eric Ni mentioned, "this palliative measure is to show the love and care, most importantly symbolises that we value and cherish the relationship between China and Nigeria, by assisting the people of Lagos at this period of lockdown.”
