Troops, CJTF Arrest Suspected Boko Haram Recruiter in Borno
Troops of 29 Brigade, Operation HADIN KAI, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have apprehended a suspected Boko Haram recruiter in Benisheikh, Borno State.
According to Zagazola Makama, the suspect was identified through credible intelligence linking him to the recruitment of individuals into terrorist groups.
He was arrested on March 24 during a joint operation carried out by troops and CJTF operatives in the area.
Security sources confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody and undergoing investigation, with efforts ongoing to identify and track down other members of his network.
